The Perfect Personalised Present
In advance of this class you will send me your favourite photo, which I will have made into a ceramic decal for use during the workshop. In the class we will discuss the background colour of the glass in your piece, and you will then cut the glass and decorate the boarder (if you want) and fix your decal onto the glass. They will then be fired overnight onto the glass surface.
I will then mount your work in a simple white frame for you to collect midweek…
…and viola….the perfect personalised present!

Flat Pate de Verre
In this taster session you will have the opportunity to design and create your own piece of flat pate de verre (paste of glass). Using sharp hand tools you will engrave a piece of plaster with your design and then fill with glass powders and Frits. These will be fired for 24 hours and after removal of the plaster be ready for collection mid week

Make your own Tealight
These mini pate de verre vessels hold a small tea light candle and can be custom made in your favourite colour or to suit the decor in your house. During the class you will hand-build your own plaster mould and pack with colourful crushed glass. These pieces will be fired twice and then divested (plaster removed), ready for pick up midweek.

Dry January blues?
In this short and sweet class you can decorate your own glass water bottle with enamel paints and decals. Your decoration will then be fired on to become a permanent design that you can enjoy for years! Perfect for those January blues!

A great way to start to investigate the medium that is glass. You can choose from a one day workshop, to a more in depth night class during which we will cover all the basics!
Beginners Glass Evening Class
Over the course of 4 evenings we will explore many different aspects of glass fusing. You will learn how to cut glass, fire a kiln discuss the principles of writing firing schedules and will experiment with the effects of heat on glass through the completion of different weekly projects. You will leave the course with many finished pieces and samples.
No experience required and all materials supplied. 6 people maximum in each course

Introduction to Glass Fusing
in this one day workshop you will learn how to cut glass, about the many different types of glass, of the effects of heat and glass and will finish your day having created many sample tiles and one larger piece of work that will be fired and slumped for you to pick up at a later date. A great course for those who have limited time that just want to make something beautiful for their house and have fun!
